I live alone – where can I find help?

Start by identifying key people who can help out with aspects that are: - Practical i.e. help with gardening, cleaning, shopping - Financial i.e. trusted advice on money issues and planning for the future - Emotional i.e. staying active, keeping loneliness at bay, finding purpose If you live alone, you may not be used to asking for help. Consider writing a list of who is best to help with a particular task by looking at family members, friends, neighbours and professionals. Practise talking about your diagnosis and have a think about how you might ask for help, if this is not something that comes easy to you.
