How do I use a meal planner?

A meal planner is simply a chart with the days of the week mapped out and the days broken down into meal and snack times. It’s a really handy way of ensuring you: - enjoy a good, varied diet that contributes to better health and mood - avoid food waste - remember to eat: including what to eat, when - shop efficiently and don’t waste time or money on things you’ve forgotten to buy or impulse buys - don’t get overwhelmed by choice - can be independent and stay in control of your food choices - save money across the week by planning efficiently and using unused ingredients from one meal to create another - save time on trips to the shops or online browsing - are better able to cook from scratch - can create a shopping list and control your spending - spend more time doing the things you enjoy Creating a meal plan is simple and you can start by downloading our Meal Planner here and using it to help you think about what kind of meals you enjoy.
