Make a list of what help you think you need. And write down all the things you can do for yourself. Maybe you don't need that much help at the moment. Be honest about where you feel you coudl do with help.

No shame in asking for help. Everyone needs help now and then. I used to help my relatives plan budgets and deal with paperwork etc before my dementia. they didn't have dementia but weren't good at paperwork. We all need a bit of support.

I understand how you feel but sadly you are going to need help and support at some point. Maybe not much right now, but it will change. Have you tried counselling or therapy? It might help you come to terms with the situation.
